Best Company Culture 

This award goes to a business that can demonstrate a positive culture and initiatives that have supported their staff and ensured a healthy working environment. The judges will look at how companies support staff in areas including corporate values, mental health, inclusion & diversity, training and development, work-life balance, and wellbeing. Entries should be up to 600 words. 

Please include as much evidence of success as possible and examples that help bring your entry to life. This can include any relevant marketing materials or supporting material. 

Your entry should include: 

  • Who in the business leads in this area? 

  • What initiatives have taken place to support a positive culture? What values are in place? What changes and improvements can you point to as evidence? 

  • How does the company communicate with employees? How is ‘culture’ measured? 

  • Why does the culture and initiatives in place stand out as being award-worthy? 

Best Marketing Initiative 

This award will go to the best marketing initiative that’s helped drive brand awareness and/or sales activity. We will be looking for evidence of initiatives that have really driven performance or contributed to solving a business challenge. 

Entries should detail the initiative's purpose and goals, along with performance and outcomes. Entries should be up to 600 words and talk about the team that delivered the initiative, the objectives and how they were delivered. 

Please include as much evidence of success as you can - in the form of numbers and KPIs, along with examples that help bring your entry to life. This can include any relevant marketing materials or supporting material.

This award will go to the best initiative that’s helped drive new business performance or contributed to solving a business challenge.

Best Partnership Award 

This award will go to a campaign or initiative that puts partnership at the heart of its strategy, bringing together two brands in a way that delivers in terms of strategy, execution, and results. This can be a new partnership or one that has formed over time and had long-term benefits, but it must have been active during 2023. 

Entries should be up to 600 words and talk about how the partnership was created, its objective, execution and how success was measured and delivered. Any relevant marketing materials or supporting material can be included in addition to the written entry. 

Please include as much evidence in the form of numbers and KPIs as you can, and examples that help bring your entry to life. This includes any relevant marketing materials or supporting material. 

Your entry should include: 

  • Who was involved? 

  • What did it set out to achieve, what did the partnership include? 

  • How did the campaign come about? How were the partners brought onboard? How successful was the partnership? 

  • Why should this be considered the best partnership, and why is it unique? 

Best Partnership Team

This award will go to the partnership team that can demonstrate outstanding performance for their business and partners with innovative and creative solutions. 

Entries need to show evidence of strong sales performance. 

Please include as much evidence of success as possible - in the form of numbers and KPIs, along with examples that help bring your entry to life. This can include any relevant marketing materials or supporting material. 

Your entry should include: 

  • Who is in the team? Who is your client base and market? 

  • What has happened in the last 12 months within the team? - Challenges, successes, performance

  • Why is this team the best partnership team in the industry? 

Best Partnership with Purpose

This award will go to a campaign or initiative that resulted in a partnership for social good. This could be a charity campaign or single cause campaign where two brands/operations came together with real purpose to do some good. Judges will be looking for measurable outcomes of any campaign and activity. 

Entries should be up to 600 words and talk about how the partnership was created, its objective, execution and how success was measured and delivered. 

Please include as much evidence of success as you can, along with examples that help bring your entry to life. This can include any relevant marketing materials or supporting material. 

Your entry should include: 

  • Who was involved? 

  • What did it set out to achieve, what did the partnership include?

Best Start-Up Award 

This award will go to a start-up and recognise their success and development. We’ll be looking for growth, a positive culture, innovation and how their business is fulfilling their customer needs. 

The judges will be looking for demonstrable evidence success. Entries should be up to 600 words and include information on market position, commercial performance, culture, and clients. 

Please also note this award is open to agencies, media owners or marketing service businesses that started trading in the last three years.

  • Who has developed the business and who does it serve? 

  • What are the values of the company and what sets it apart from its rivals?

Best Use of Insight 

A great piece of market research which really helped build insight for a customer or your own business and developed a sales or marketing initiative or product development. The judges will be looking for evidence of great actionable insight and how it was applied. 

Entries should be up to 600 words and talk about the brief for the customer insight project, how it was devised and delivered; what objectives were identified, what insights were created and successfully applied. The judges will be looking for demonstrable evidence of the value of the insights and how they helped the business or brand.

Your entry should include: 

  • Who was the insight developed for, and their market? Who were the main people involved? 

  • What was the objective, and what challenges needed to be overcome? What insight did you deliver?

  • What did this insight or what it helped achieve stand out as exceptional? 

Marketing Team of the Year 

This award will go to the marketing team that has delivered above and beyond for their business, clients and/or prospects. 

Entries should detail the team's success on marketing, particular projects and initiatives that have paid off and delivered results for the company. The judges will be looking for solid evidence of success. Entries should be up to 600 words and talk about the team, the objectives and how they were delivered.

Media Salesperson of the Year (& Rising Star)  

This award will go to the Media salesperson whose work and approach have helped both drive growth and go above and beyond. Entries with individuals with less than 4 years media sales experience will also be considered for the Rising Star award. Some salespeople may be too modest to enter themselves (really!), so we encourage sales leaders to enter the person who has stood out above the rest. The judges will seek evidence of real sales skills and motivation that has led to terrific performance. 

Entries should detail the contribution the salesperson has made to the business and team. The judges will be looking for demonstrable evidence of great attitude and skills that has led to success. Entries should be up to 600 words. 

It’s important that the judges get a strong sense of the person and their achievements, so try to include examples that demonstrate the qualities you are writing about.

Your entry should include: 

  • Motivation – Tell us how this person stays motivated and inspires those around them 

  • Planning – what are this person’s planning strengths and how did their visions help the team and themselves deliver.  Give any examples of plans they put in place that really paid off. 

  • Results – give us information on the results this person helped produce. This should be in revenue performance but can also include, output increases and any other results you think paint a picture of this person’s role. 

  • Testimonials - please provide some direct testimonials and comments from the team or clients to support the entry if you can. 

New Business Team of the Year 

This award will go to the new business team that has really delivered in terms of new business planning, account wins and a focus and determination to deliver high quality new business in relationships that work for both sides. 

Entries should detail the team's success on new business, particular projects and initiatives that have paid off. The judges will be looking for solid evidence of success and new business growth. Entries should be up to 600 words and talk about the team, the objectives and how they were delivered.

Sales Leader of the Year  

This award will go to the individual leader of a sales team whose work and approach has helped both drive growth and the development of that team. Some sales leaders may be too modest to enter themselves (really!), so we encourage sales teams to enter the leader who has inspired and helped them to succeed. The judges will seek evidence of real sales leadership that has developed winning teams and delivered sales growth through sales plans and strategies. 

Entries should detail the contribution the sales leader has made to the business and team. The judges will be looking for demonstrable evidence of great leadership that has really helped sales teams deliver. Entries should be up to 600 words.
